[JAPAN & LITHUANIA EXCHANGE EXHIBITION] Rain Meets Sun

Artists from Lithuania and Japan will participate in an exchange through the organization of an exhibition.
The country name of Lithuania is said to originate in the Lithuanian word for 'rain'. In contrast, Japan is known as 'the land of the rising sun'. In Lithuania where rain falls in abundance, the sun is sought, while in Japan, 'the land of the rising sun', it is hoped that blessed rain will fall. This summer, artists from 'the rain country' and 'the land of the rising sun' will gather together in a contemporary art exhibition to be joined in a bridge of exchange.
