[TROLLS IN THE PARK 2009] Japan & UK Art in Parks Project
The bow of Minamotono Yoritomo destroyed clans of Heishi and Ohshu-Fujiwarashi, and as legend has it, was used to dig up the water source of Zenpukuji pond (the site of this exhibition) after his triumphant return in the12th Century. I see this bow as a symbol of his thirst for conquest and water, desires universal throughout the ages.

Human being never stop fighting. The war-horses symbolize time and life.
