| It is characteristic of Kawaguchi city to include a lot of foreigners as the citizen, especially in Nishi-kawaguchi area. Nishi-kawaguchi is known as an sexual entertainment district, also. This project concerns how we Japanese can coexists with them in the better relationship. Maruyama installs her work at the floor that was formerly such kind of store. She expresses the moment that immigrants are going to land to Japan. |

| Maruyama symbolizes various seeds as immigrants of various races. The red pot on the white table looks like the Japanese national flag, she symbolizes it as the close area for the audience, for example, their neighborhood, nishikawaguchi town or Japan. | ||||||||||||||||
