| It is characteristic of Kawaguchi city to include a lot of foreigners as the citizen, especially in Nishi-kawaguchi area. Nishi-kawaguchi is known as an sexual entertainment district, also. This project concerns how we Japanese can coexists with the foreigners who live there in the better relationship. Maruyama installs her work at the floor that was formerly such kind of store. She expresses the crowd in gray color, it means we can't distinguish who will be dangerous. And she makes the audiences notice their each prejudices to distinguish 3 terrorists among the crowd. |
