The images are photographs of the various expressions of people who were involved in many kinds of racial problems around the world. I erased the background that showed the details about each event. By doing so, each portrait in the photo could begin to express the feelings possessed by the human race in an anonymous and universal way, enabling the viewers to hear the whispers and sounds from every portrait. Every panel is bordered with red line. The intricate lines are created from the overlapping panels, enabling the viewers to take a glimpse of the portraits. My idea is that depending on how I arrange the panels, the portraits that happen to be caught between the lines are considered as minorities, or displaced persons. If we are fortunate enough now to not be included in the minority groups, then this is only from a lucky coincidence.
